Islamophobia Awareness

Download poster

Islamophobia is the most prevalent form of religious discrimination in the UK today.  Islamophobia awareness month brings much needed attention to this form of hate crime.

In this session we explore the origins, manifestations, and impact of Islamophobia on individuals in the workplace and in society.  We will examine the various forms of discrimination and prejudice faced by Muslims, and the ways in which these attitudes are reinforced by political, cultural, and media narratives.

Through critical analysis and discussion, we will also explore strategies for combating Islamophobia in the workplace and promoting greater understanding and respect for Muslim communities. Whether you are interested in social justice, human rights, or simply gaining a deeper understanding of this important issue, this session is for you.

Bookings are now closed for this event. You’ll be able to catch up on demand in the Library after the event.
