One in four women experience baby loss and yet it’s still such a taboo subject. It’s likely you know at least one person who’s experienced baby loss if you haven’t experienced it yourself.
Most people find it uncomfortable to talk about baby loss, but it is so important to talk about our babies.
Losing a baby is one of the hardest things any family will ever have to go through. It is life changing for most people. Nothing can prepare you for the loss of a baby. Baby loss is such a unique grief and it’s difficult to understand if you haven’t been through it yourself, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still support friends, colleagues and loved ones who are suffering.
Grief is hard enough to navigate at the best of times, but nobody knows what to do when a baby dies, and nobody knows what to say.
In this session Louisa will take you on her journey and share her story of baby loss. You will get to hear in detail how this affected her and her family and the different tools and support she used to help with her healing.
The more we talk about our babies and share our journey the more awareness we raise. There are lots of babies dying each year and a lot of families are suffering in silence. So helps us break the taboo and talk about baby loss and raise awareness.
